Due to coronavirus fears, Facebook’s Oculus VR division won’t be attending the 2020 Game Developers Conference in person, but the company is still planning on making digital announcements regarding the latest Oculus news. The coronavirus, COVID19, continues to spread, particularly in China and some Eastern Asia countries. Almost a year ago, Facebook teased a redesigned version of its web interface with a lighter design, navigation changes, and more. At the time, Facebook didn’t offer details on when “The New Facebook” would be available to everyone, but now the company says to expect the rollout by the start of spring. Over the last several months, Facebook has rolled out its new design to a “small percentage” of users, giving them the ability to test the interface and provide feedback for a widespread release....

Facebook today is announcing changes to keep the Groups feature a safe place and stop harmful content, like hate speech and misinformation. In a blog post, Facebook says it will start improving group recommendations while restricting the reach of rule-breaking groups and members. Facebook recently removed civic and political groups as well as newly created groups from recommendations in the US. Although it’s possible to invite friends to these groups or search for them, these restrictions are now expanding globally....

Facebook page is always trying to lure the teens back to Facebook and why not, when they are the majority of internet users. In the past, Facebook tried launching projects like Facebook Watch and IGTV, but failed. Now, Facebook is again hard at work with LOL, a new meme hub that they feel will attract the teens back to Facebook. Memes are quite famous with teens as they like using them in their conversations and social media sites like Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok do a good job at that....

Fallout 4 is a weird game in general and feels “not quite at home” in the long-running franchise. There’s plenty to like about the title and there are plenty of fun and interesting moments, but the game isn’t quite as cohesive as the previous Fallout games. Moreover, the cracks in Fallout 4 are the same that destroyed the foundation of Fallout 76 and made it a fundamentally broken experience. Fallout 4 might have the series’ classic look and is far more approachable to newcomers to the series, but its story and themes just don’t have the same punch as the original titles or Fallout: New Vegas....

Google’s ChomeOS was announced a few months ago as a mainstream operating system for Netbooks (and tablets?!). Today, via unofficial Tweet, Google is showing off the first video of the operating system. The OS is mostly just a log on to Google services (and it looks like it has a touch screen/tablet component to it)....

Fallout is a series of post-apocalyptic action role-playing game that is developed by Bethesda Softworks. Facebook is out with a useful update to its Messenger app for iPhone and iPad today adding an action extension for sharing content from other apps on iOS 8. This adds the ability to have deep Facebook Messenger integration with other apps including Safari and Photos just like Apple’s own Messages app. Once enabled, you can do things like share images and videos from the Photos app or links from Safari directly to your contacts on Facebook Messenger without having to jump back and forth between apps....

Another Marvel hero may have been revealed in a new The Falcon and The Winter Soldier set photo. The Disney+ original series is set to be the first from Marvel Studios as they expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the small screen this year. Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are returning to star as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes respectively for six episodes that finally put the focus on them....

Fallout 76 is easily the most disappointing game of 2018. In an industry that sees hundreds of interesting games released every year, some accolades aren’t worth winning. It’s easy for a good or even great game to get lost in the shuffle nowadays; for indie titles, that goes double for a release that simply missed the mark. The developer can buckle down, learn from it, and come back later with a new offering that aims to improve or change the deficiencies of the past....

Season 17 of the animated series Family Guy will see the Griffin family moving from Quahog to Washington D.C., after Peter Griffin is hired as President Donald Trump’s new Press Secretary. Peter will apparently be hand-picked by President Trump himself, after showing an amazing capacity for blatantly lying under pressure. The upcoming episode was one of several announced during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con. First airing in 1999, Family Guy has gone on to become one of the most popular and controversial animated series of all time....

Facebook today is rolling out a new update to its iOS app that brings a handful of new features to iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users. As usual, the actual changelog provided in the App Store by Facebook doesn’t detail any of the changes, but rather states that Facebook periodically updates its app to add new features and performance and reliability improvements. Today’s new features come in the form of new 3D Touch capabilities for the app on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices....

Bethesda is now offering a monthly subscription service for Fallout 76, despite having only recently announced features which many fans have been asking for, like human NPCs, would be delayed to at least 2020. This news comes as something of a shock to many players and fans of the series, as Fallout 76 still reportedly suffers from many of the same problems the game had when it launched nearly a year ago in November 2018....

Marvel Studios is once again earning accolades for their de-aging technology in Ant-Man & the Wasp. Surprisingly, though, the studio’s best CGI was still years ago - when they created a fake Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 3, without anyone even noticing it. Over the last few years, Marvel Studios has gained a reputation for cleverly manipulating actors’ faces to look younger, using a combination of make-up and digital trickery....

Facebook has just broken out another feature of their main app and released Pages Manager for the iPhone. The app appears to function just like the main Facebook app, but with all of the features dedicated to fan pages. It also features some new features like access to Facebook’s Insights for tracking analytics data, such as the number of people sharing your page and the total number of people who have been exposed to your brand through the page....

Many Snapchat users report that they are facing difficulties in sending messages to other accounts. They are getting a failed to send error. Most of the time, it is a particular account, and sometimes the problem is familiar with all accounts too. If it is happening with all the accounts, then it is probably a server issue from Snapchat or probably a network issue. But if it is happening with a particular account, then it is probably a corrupted cache data issue....
